Converge ICT’s Official Statement re: April 22, 2019 Earthquake

Dear Valued Customers,

We are one with the whole Filipino nation in praying for strength in spirit for those who have been unfortunately affected by yesterday’s 6.1 magnitude earthquake. The said natural disaster has brought about damages and fatalities especially in areas like Porac, Pampanga. With this, we offer our deepest condolences to the families of those who lost loved ones. We do hope that the on-going rescue operations be smooth and effective.

Converge ICT assures everyone that our facilities remain fully operational and ready to serve all of you. Thankfully, we have no reports of extreme physical or structural damages. There were minor service interruptions due to the power outage, but we were able to readily restore via our backup power sources.

Our critical facilities were immediately and carefully assessed. Except of minor cosmetic damages, all of our infrastructures have been declared safe and capable of resuming operations.

Our Contact Centers/Customer Network Operations Centers continue with their 24/7 service operations, while our Field Operations have been committed in the service delivery of installations and other maintenance activities.

Rest assured that we will be unwavering in our commitment to provide a reliable internet service that is highly needed in difficult times like this. In fact, all our teams are in 24-hour critical alert.

Having said this, we have a business-as-usual mindset, and we look forward to continuing to serve all of you, our customers.
